I wish I would've posted these pictures sooner. Last weekend I went with some friends to the Syracuse Comic Book Expo. As far as cons go it was small with a few guests. I did see Marv Wolfman who is famous for writting Teen Titans and Crisis On Infinite Earths. I also met Frank Cammuso who is an editorial cartoonist for the big Syracuse newspaper, The Syracuse Post Standard. It was really nice being able to talk shop with him.
The 501st Legion, Garrison Excelsior was represented at the con. This is an organization of dedicated Star Wars fans who go all out with their costumes. They're really impressive. Especially, Chewbacca. The guy inside the suit was actually walking around on stilts. Also, at the con was this guy. I'm not sure who or what he was supposed to be but he did eat ten tacos for justice. I think he was supposed to be a hero but he looked filthy and homeless. After each taco he ate he cried, "For justice!" I stayed to watch him eat the last taco, which he did. He looked like he was going to barf.

Lost 2
Well, tonight is the big night. I'm prepared to see no resolutions to any of the dangling plot threads on Lost's season finale. The only hopes I have is that it'll be a totally entertaining show. I'm also expecting a huge cliffhanger. I'd like to ask all of you to enjoy tonight's show and these sketches of Sawyer, John Locke, and Kate.

Track & Field Trojan
This is just a simple little sketch I did after being asked to create a large poster for my school's track team. Our mascot is a Trojan. So here's the little guy after fooling around with some Photoshop adjustments courtesy of tutorials by illustrator extraordinaire, Chris Wahl.

Belated Birthday Stuff
My birthday falls on the same day as the Mexican holiday, Cinco de Mayo. However, as I become older I'm realizing more and more that I'm not getting any younger. It's not been the easiest thing for me. I look back on my life and I think of how I would really like to relive my mid to late 20s in a quantum loop. Just hit repeat. I know. I'm going to use my own motto, "We all got problems." This birthday was a little different.
Davey-D with the 80s At 8:00 surprised me with a pic of Jack Bauer himself, Keifer Sutherland. Polish Rob got me a really cool CD of a Ukrainian punk band. Also my colleague and good friends Eric and Erika gave me a B&N gift card. Sweet!
Later on that evening I went out with Cathy and Anita to Varrick Street where we met up with Davey-D and Wildman Dave.
Special guest appearances were made by Shanne, another friend from work and my LOST buddy, Melissa.
Thanks to everyone who bought me Corona, Jim Beam, and Utica Club. Also, thank you Anita for the burrito. You guys made me feel like I was 26 again.
And a 'screw you' to the girl at the Varrick who cut in front of me at the bar and started with me. You BIATCH!
